General Choi Young was born as the son of Choi Won Seok in 1316, the third year of King Chungsuk of Korea. He is a general with an outstanding strategy and leadership with a strong, loyal, and honorable character who defeated Japanese raiders repeatedly under the Yangkwangjic Dosoonmoonsa and when holding the Chansungsa’s seat in July 1376. Japanese raiders invaded Hongsan taking over and committing arson murdering in Gyeongnam, Gangryung, Jeonra 3do defeated them at Hongsan and was most scared by Japanese raiders who lost a will to fight and ran away with just one look at his flag. 

When the Japanese’ invasion was at its peak in the late Koryo, coastal areas centered around Busan and the invasion not making it possible to recover has turned into a folk tale in turn with a thankful heart as General Choi Young annihilated the Japanese raiders who built a General Choi Young’s shrine on the Busan shore area Gammandong, Suyoungdong, Youngdo, and Jasungdae with regional people’s efforts that serve as village guardian to avoid disasters from Japanese raiders and Jasung Grand Park’s shrine Jasungdae developed promotion committee gives an annual commemorating worship every May 5 of the lunar calendar.
